As members, you are also customer-owners of CUA. In addition to benefiting from personalized banking designed to meet your individual financial needs, you can help shape how we serve you by taking simple actions that can have a big impact. You are also invited to take part in events and initiatives that recognize you and show our appreciation for banking with us. For instance, I hope you’ll consider taking part in our Annual Member Survey that is open until October 11. For another way to have your say with CUA, consider learning about our Board of Directors nomination period, open from October 15 – November 29. The election will take place in April 2020. The Board provides key leadership and oversight to our operations and strategic direction. As part of the collaborative principles our organization is based on, this is an opportunity for you to truly shape our future direction. If you know someone suitable for this kind of leadership role, I invite you to consider nominating them.
Finally, join us during our first-ever CUA Member Appreciation Day on Tuesday, November 5. Based on feedback from our customer-owners following several years of fun Family Movie Day events, we have decided to create a new and more expansive appreciation event with an entire day of activities, prizes and giveaways that will enable more people to participate at branch locations, our Corporate Office and online.
