Taking Stock and Looking Ahead

As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to express my appreciation.  From those we welcomed in 2019 to the customers with whom we’ve built long-term relationships, thank you for choosing CUA as The Better Way to Bank.  

While December is often considered a time for reflection, our attention naturally moves toward what lies ahead.  We all have goals in life whether they be financial, professional or otherwise, and at CUA we strive to be Nova Scotia’s most successful community banking institution.  It’s our vision for what we want to be as an organization and, along with our mission and our core values, guides the decisions we make and how we plan for what’s next.  

Throughout 2020 and beyond, CUA will continue to focus on providing you the flexible products, personalized service and quick decisions you expect.  We’re also thinking bigger about how we can help more Nova Scotians develop the confidence and knowledge to achieve and maintain financial well-being.  Some of that confidence and knowledge comes from having the right sources of information to meet your needs.  That’s why our team of financial experts, the CUAuthors, provide you with information and insights each month to help you navigate money matters and become financially savvy.  In this newsletter, we’re sharing some of our most popular tips and insights from 2019.

Being the most successful community banking institution also means we must support the individuals, business and organizations that make our communities what they are.  That’s why we strive to connect with you in local events like the Spryfield Holiday Parade,  which you can see photos from in the December newsletter, and why we help connect you to businesses through stories highlighting their impact on the places where we live and work.  It also drives initiatives like our Community Partners Program that enables businesses to offer benefits and discounts exclusive to CUA customers.  Feel free to explore some of these great offers you can take advantage of this holiday season »

Being a CUA customer also means you can connect directly with CUA staff and the Board of Directors at events like our Annual General Meeting that takes place every Spring. I encourage you to complete this short survey to let us know about your interest in attending this and similar events throughout the year. Your opinion is appreciated and will help guide our direction in this area.
