Spreading Community Cheer

As we near the end of another impactful year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the progress we’ve made together and extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. It has been a year of growth, change, and community, and our efforts and achievements wouldn’t be possible without the support from our members.

This year, we’ve seen continued strength in our financial foundation, but even more importantly, we’ve deepened our commitment to serving you—our members. Whether that be through offering uniquely flexible products like the No Down Payment Mortgage, investing in our accessibility and technology with the new online and mobile banking system, or providing financial education to help you achieve your goals, we’ve worked hard to ensure that your financial well-being remains at the core of everything we do.

Before the year ends, we have a few events to wrap up and recap. As you may know, November 7 marked our annual Member Appreciation Day, where we celebrate you, our members. Several individuals were awarded some amazing prizes, including a $1,000 cash grand prize, an Apple Watch, a spa getaway and more, in addition to a few exciting surprises. We also awarded $1,000 to Ian Flint, the winner of our Annual Member Survey draw. In the spirit of Financial Literacy Month, throughout the month of November we hosted a CUA Game Show, with a new game show question each day – Lauren Boudreau, Kathleen Bates, Shari-Lynn Hiltz, and Sarah Lindsay each walked away with a $50 gift card to enjoy a trivia night on us. As we prepare for 2025, we remain committed to providing the personal service, dedication, and integrity that have guided our success over the years, while finding new ways to support the growth of our community. Thank you to each and every one of our members for your tremendous loyalty, which has allowed us to grow and continue to fund important programs, projects and initiatives that foster a better Province for all.
