Credit card debt across the country has risen to over $93 billion, and a recent report found that the average monthly credit card spend for Canadians was nearly $2,450 in the third quarter of 2022. While this number may seem high to some, it’s important to remember that inflation has caused the cost of living to increase significantly, which means more individuals are relying on credit for their day to day expenses.

In recent news, I’m excited to share that we have selected our 2023 Community Investment Grant Program Recipients. The Program received 381 applications this year, each of which were exciting, inspirational, and showcased an exceptional commitment to strengthening our Province of Nova Scotia and its communities.
