During the month of July, CUA will once again participate in the Halifax Pride Festival, taking place July 14-24.

CUA developed a new activity this year in an effort to engage our members as well as our staff. During the week of July 4^th, each branch, along with several teams of Corporate Office staff, were provided with a “selfie station” that included a different solid colored backdrop, for a total of 10 different colours to make up the Pride flag. Staff and members were encouraged to take photos of themselves against the colourful backdrops. In exchange for their enthusiam, we rewarded our members' participation with a bag of Skittles candy.

Our Pride Selfie Stations had a wonderful turn-out, and as a result CUA has developed our Pride-themed Community Collage, as shown above.

Throughout Pride Week, you can see our Community Collage posters in-branch. We'd like to extend a warm thank-you to all of our members and staff who participated.
