Member Appreciation Day 2022

At CUA, we value each and every one of our members. That’s why on Thursday, November 3rd, CUA held its fourth annual Member Appreciation Day, which featured both in-branch and online celebrations. To show our gratitude, we spent the day surprising our members with some wonderful gifts and gave away prizes.
Grand Prize Winner John O'Connor with CUA's CEO Marie Mullally

Throughout the month of October, members were encouraged to submit digital ballots to enter CUA’s Member Appreciation Day giveaway. Four lucky winners won early bird prizes each Friday throughout the month, which included $50 gift cards to CUA member businesses Birdies Bread Company, Cascades Day Spa, New Scotland Clothing Company, and Battery Park Beerbar & Eatery.

On November 3rd, our team drew the names of several giveaway winners; members John O’Connor and Jodi Steptoe won our two grand prizes of $1,000 cash and a $1,000 travel voucher to Maritime Travel, respectively. Two Holiday Date Night packages were gifted to Oliver Sherwood and Tanya Jewells, which included tickets to Neptune Theatre and Symphony Nova Scotia. Alla Betman and Katherine Wilson were the winners of our I ♥ NS Shopping Spree $250 gift card prizes for Jennifer’s of Nova Scotia and Made in the Maritimes. Finally, our Fitness Gift Package, which includes a 10 class pass to Just Cycle Spin Studio, was won by Alexander Osborne. Congratulations to all of our winners!

The celebration continued in our branches as bags of caramel corn and 2023 desk calendars were gifted to anyone who stopped by. We hope our members enjoyed this tasty treat!

Our CUA Commercial Team also went out into the community to visit a number of our commercial members, delivering care packages as they went. Along with a thank you card, each package contained flowers from member Jake’s Florist & Chocolatier and treats from member Delectable Desserts.
