Support for CUA Credit Card Holders

CUA offers a full range of credit card options issued by Collabria Financial, a Canadian payment solutions provider. A Temporary Financial Relief Program has been implemented for personal and commercial cardholders impacted by COVID-19. For additional details and information on how to access these measures, visit the Collabria website or reach the Collabria Contact Centre at 1-855-341-4643.

  • Minimum Payment Deferrals and Temporary Interest Rate Reduction (website). Cardholders may request payment deferrals and a temporary reduction of the interest rate to 10.9% on cash advances and on any unpaid statement balance for up to three months. The offer may be extended for up to an additional three months, for a total deferral period of six months, if the cardholder continues to qualify for the Financial Relief Program.
  • Increased Contactless Payment Limits (website). Cardholders can make contactless payments up to $250 wherever merchants have enabled acceptance of higher contactless transactions. This increase is automatic and applies to all cardholders.
  • Emergency Temporary Credit Limit Increases (website). For Canadians who are currently outside Canada and are actively working to return to Canada, an emergency credit limit increase is available to cover airfare, car rentals, food, shelter, medical supplies, medications and other expenses.
  • 5.9% Balance Transfer Rate (website). Effective May 1 to July 31, 2020, a 5.9% rate on balance transfers to a CUA credit card will be available for six months from the date of transfer. All new or existing personal or business cards, except US dollar cards, are eligible. For more information, visit the offer website.
  • Credit Card Reward Points on Groceries (website).  Between May 1 and July 31, 2020, CUA credit card holders will automatically receive 50% more reward points for every dollar spent on grocery purchases.  This will provide a benefit on one of the biggest spending categories for households.
